A Peek into My Life: Last Thursday's Lunch

Hey ya!

Okay so this is a non-beauty related post but I just thought I'd share a bit of the happenings in my life with you dearies. Haha!

So I had lunch with a friend and fellow blogger, MellySak last Thursday at Thank God It's Friday (TGIF). We just decided to meet up for lunch 'cause she got a free fajita dish from her previous receipt, and we decided to share it.

Mainly I wanna show you dearies the food 'cause it was SO YUMMY!!

So we ordered the free fajitas dish (I can't remember the exact name!) and had it half beef and half chicken, and we also ordered almond crusted chicken salad or something like that- also forgot the name. Hehe!

That's the salad topped with oranges, dried cranberries, almond slices, blue cheese and drenched in a balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing. It was SO GOOD. We both stuffed ourselves with it.

Can you see the cranberries hidden under the chicken? Delicious! This salad costs RM28.90.

Then came the fajitas...

Looks yummy, eh? Basically how to eat it is by taking a tortilla slice (the white round circle in the picture) and putting whatever toppings you want in it and then the meat you prefer, and then just roll it up and dig in!

The portions were really big and definitely meant for sharing I'd say. All in all, it was a very filling meal and we were STUFFED. Had a great time chatting with her, too! Then we went makeup/clothes window-shopping and I bought some stuff (couldn't resist!) which I will post up a picture of real soon.

It definitely was a good, fun-filled day, that one. Haha! If you go to TGIF, do try these two dishes! They're very yummy!

How've you all been doing? I'm slightly more free this week- less tutorials, no assignments etc (thank God!) so was browsing through my posts and I realised I have not posted up my reviews on the complete range of the Hada Labo SHA set!

Hey ya darlings!

Just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Valentine's! =D

In my personal opinion, Valentine's Day is not only a day to celebrate relationships between lovers, but also a day to celebrate all relationships; be it between friends, family, classmates etc. So whether you are single or not, today is good day to appreciate those dear to your heart and to tell them that you love them.=)

Of course, I do not think that we should appreciate our loved ones only on Valentine's- every day is as good a day to cherish them. Hee!

But in the spirit of Valentine's, I just want to say I appreciate every single reader that has read my blog, as well as my followers. Thank you for your support and encouragement! Without you darlings, blogging is nowhere near fun. Haha!

Also, on a side note, as of 12.2.2012, my blog reached 5000 views!! To me this is a big deal and again, I want to say THANK YOU to all the readers and followers of this blog. Without all of you, I'd never have gotten 5000 views. Thank you so much! =D Next target is 10,000 views! Hee!

So now I gotta get back to my tutorial work and assignment(really will start blogging more soon! February is a very hectic month for me.) - that's how I'm spending my Valentine's. Haha!

Cheap n' Chic!: Casual Outfit of the Day (OOTD)

So I was thinking what I could post up here that would be slightly different from the normal product reviews that I do- sometimes it can get pretty dull. Hee!

So I decided to post up an OOTD which I have put together a couple of times for various different occasions.

I do feel that it is possible to dress stylishly and comfortably without having to burn a hole in my uni student pocket- and to prove that, this whole outfit costs a max of RM100! =D

Products:-

- Gray and white striped cropped jacket (can't rmb the name of the shop), RM33

- White spaghetti top (Forever 21), RM15

- Red ribbon waist belt (Jusco Departmental Store- hee!), RM19.90

- Black high waist pencil skirt (Forever 21), RM29

TOTAL COST: RM96.90

Just wanna show you a bit more of the details of this outfit...

My mum actually got this for herself, decided she didn't want it in the end and gave it to me! Haha! I like how it has a sheer black polka-dotted lace covering and contrasting with the red of the ribbon. =)



Also just wanted to show you a close-up of the silver buttons on the jacket with it military design- cool! =D

So... yep! I really like this outfit and just thought I'd share it with you. =D
