The Edit | Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey dolls!

I always like seeing what makeup items every one uses on a daily basis because I feel that those products would be ones which people really like or can rely on, which possibly means they are good? Hee! So, I thought I'd give you a peek into my daily makeup routine and the products which I consider my 'staples' and ones which I can always trust to enhance my features!

After finishing with my daily morning skincare routine (will put this up in another post!), I use one pump of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in Shade 52 and apply and blend it with my fingers all over my face except my nose because I feel it looks cakey on my nose. Really like it because it matches my skin tone spot-on (it has yellow undertones, and no orange undertones at all), and one pump gives light coverage, just enough to even out my skin tone while still looking natural.

I realise I forgot to include in my pictures my eyebrow pencil and eye shadow primer but after applying foundation, I lightly draw in my brows and apply eye shadow primer to my eyelids. I then conceal my under-eye circles, spots and any redness with the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium. I then lightly set my face all over with Clinique's Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Pressed Powder to get rid of any redness and to blur out imperfections.

I now move on to my eye makeup. I tend to switch the eye shadows I use but the one I always reach for is Australis' Nudist Eye Shadow Palette and I love creating different neutral looks with the palette. After that, I apply a thin line on my eyes to frame it with the Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner in Brown. I really like this gel liner as it leaves such a natural look and brown is less harsh than black!I then give my lashes a few coats of whatever current mascara I'm using (currently it's the Seventeen Doll'd Up Mascara).

Some days, I like to lightly contour my face with the bronzer from Sleek's Face Form Palette in Light. If not, I just move straight on to applying blush and highlighter from the same palette, slick one to two coats of Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in #4 Rose Tweed for that natural polished look and I'm all set!

This may sound like a lot of makeup and it probably is but I use a very little amount of foundation only as a base to cover up and a little powder to set every thing. I do not touch up my face makeup at all during the day except for my lipstick, so once it fades, it fades and I'm not bothered, hee!

I hope you enjoyed reading my everyday makeup routine! Do you have an everyday makeup routine? What products do you enjoy using? =D

xx Amanda
