What I Wore | OOTD : Pop of Aztec

Hello dearies!

Dressing up is something I really enjoy- yet something I do not that often nowadays. I tend to go out in a simple tee and shorts, and only put in more effort occasionally. I do, however, play dress up in my room, and wile away the hours trying on my clothes and pairing outfits. I matched this outfit for lunch out with a girl friend. Aztec prints are currently one of the trends I am loving and am slowly expanding my wardrobe to include more Aztec print items.

Malaysia is really hot almost 24/7 so I decided to pair a colourful Aztec print sleeveless top tucked in to a wet-look skater skirt. Was hoping to give off a cute and fun look. Hopefully I succeeded? =D Hee!

I realise I look rather awkward in my pictures- it's because it was my first time actually posing for an outfit of the day (OOTD) post and I felt a bit weird posing randomly in front a camera- I'm shy that way. =3 My brother kindly helped me photograph myself so just giving a thank you shout out to him (I need a tripod)!

These dangly leaf earrings probably do not match the outfit as a whole but I really like how dainty they look, and how it seems to somehow give the illusion of a longer, slimmer neck. Hehe!



I have a thing for accessories with the Evil Eye and Hand of Fatima. When I first saw this necklace- I knew I had to have it- it is a sparkly eye!

My Fossil watch is an item well-worn. I've poured water on it by accident, scratched the leather strap (also by accident, of course) against rough surfaces, and yet it still remains well intact. A funny incident happened before though. I went on vacation to Melbourne, and it was chilly there, and my watch stopped working. Came back to Malaysia and the hands of the watch started ticking again. Haha! This is one of the only watches I own, and is very likely to be featured in future outfit posts.



Thought I would show you an up-close picture of myself. Can you see the big eye contacts I am wearing? Am liking it's natural, subtle bright eyed effect!

Anyway, lunch my friend was good- had a much-needed catchup session although I was running short on time so had to cut our meeting short. Had really delish Japanese food though, and thinking about it as I am typing this is making me want to run to the restaurant and grab some sushi!
