Review: Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers Super G Fragrance

First off, just wanna wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all will have a FANTABULOUS one! =D

Would've loved to post more often, but I went to Bangkok for nearly a week- and fell sick there... So am hardly in the mood to head to my computer and start typing.

Anyway, what better way to usher in the New Year than with a new fragrance?

Yes! My latest purchase which I bought at the duty free section at the airport in Bangkok is none other than..

Content: 30ml Eau de Toilette (EDT)

This is a limited edition fragrance which has been out in stores since July 27th 2011, so I have no idea when they will remove it from stores.

INGREDIENTS: Alcohol denat., Aqua/Water/Eau, Parfum/Fragrance, Butylphenyl methylpropional, Limonene, Citronellol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Bht, Geraniol, Linalool.

Packaging: The packaging is ADORABLE. The box is bright yellow, and very attractive. It instantly caught my eye amidst all the perfumes on display at that time. The bottle is a simple white bottle with blue writing on it, and the bottle cap is Gwen Stefani as a superhero- very CUTE! =D

Durability: This scent lasts for about an hour or so before it starts fading. I think re-application is necessary if you really want the scent to last all day. UPDATE: I actually tried to spray it on in different ways to see how I could get it to last longer and I find that spraying the perfume on my clothes helps it last with a reasonably strong fragrance for about 4-5 hours. =) That worked for me, but if you have any other methods that work, do let me know! =D

Scent: The scent is slightly different from the types of fragrances I usually purchase. It contains floral and fruity notes- but it does not smell very sweet. It somehow gives me a very 'I'm so cool' feel- if that makes sense! Haha! I guess that's why it's a superhero fragrance- it gets me adrenaline pumping! I really do like the scent, though- lovely! It is also not too over-powering and in my opinion, can be worn for any occasion.

Fragrance Description:

Top notes: Tangerine, Pineapple, Pear, Cranberry

Heart Notes: Banana Nectar, Yellow Freesia, Coconut, Peach

Base Notes: Musk, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Raspberry

Price: At RM141 for a  30ml bottle, I think it is pretty reasonable pricing for 'branded' perfumes by Malaysian standards.

Would I repurchase?- You bet! If I can find it again, that is. I really do like the scent- it's rather energising yet has fruity notes at the same time. Hehe!

This product as far as I know is not available in Malaysia, but I've researched and they can easily be bought online from websites such as theperfumeshop.com and escentuals.com (I am not affiliated to this companies in any manner).
