Review: Montagne Jeunesse Fruit Smoothie Crushed Raspberry & Mango Mask

Hello lovelies!

Facial masks are a must-have in my skin care routine as they help perk up and improve my skin's texture. So here's another one I've tested and am gonna review now!

This product claims to leave the skin deeply cleansed, fresh and soft. It contains Mango which is high in antioxidants and helps smoothe, soften and unclog pores; Peach which hydrates skin and improves the skin's health; Raspberry which works as an astringent and is high in antioxidants; and Pomegranate, which contains 3 times the amount of antioxidant properties in red wine or tea and is a rich source of Vitamin A and E. This product is for normal, dry and T-zone skin.

Product: Montagne Jeunesse Pore Cleansing Fruit Smoothie in Crushed Raspberry & Mango Price: RM5.90
Made in: United Kingdom
Content: 20grams/0.7oz

Here's the list of ingredients:-

Packaging: This facial mask comes in a bright packet with a girl smiling and fruits covering her eyes. It's kinda cute that it suits the theme and name of the mask. Although, in general I have to say there's nothing special about the packaging.

Application/Texture/Consistency: This mask is a peach-coloured spread-on mask which is not too slimy-feeling, neither too gloopy and it spreads on the face easily. The texture feels quite thick and it dries to leave the face feeling slightly tight. It also cracks here and there when dried, and it dries pretty quick. The scent is heavenly! It smells creamy and fruity- definitely smells of mango, and I think a little bit of peach too. If you like fruity-smelling products, then I'm pretty sure you will like this one too! =D

Here's the directions on how to use it:-

How I use it: After cleansing, using a facial scrub and applying toner onto my face, I apply a generous amount of this mask on my face using my fingertips and spread it out evenly. I leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. I really like the after-effects of this mask. My skin felt soft to the touch (like a baby!), smooth, plump, and my pores were less noticeable. I really do feel like it did cleanse my pores, as I noticed the number of blemishes on my face reduced ever so slightly. I use this once or twice a week (or any face masks in general) just to maintain my skin. =) The effects are temporary, though- they last for about a day.

Here's how the mask looks like on the face:-

Price: At RM5.90, I think this mask is well worth the money as it does what it claims to do and I'm very pleased with it.

Would I purchase this mask?- Definitely yes!

Where can I purchase this?- At Watson's, Guardian, and Caring Pharmacy.

NOTE: I did not purchase this product. It was given to me for review purposes. However, I assure you that my opinion is my own honest opinion and not biased towards or against the sponsor.

Have you tried any Montagne Jeunesse masks? Which is your favourite? =D

xx Amanda
