Hello everyone!
So I'm back with my monthly favourites! I did not wear much makeup during June, seeing how I'm on holiday and I did not go out much. Plus, I've also been experiencing quite a lot of breakouts on my face, for some reason(must be the late nights up watching tv series!) so I did not go for much coverage on my face.
1. Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick in 02 Natural - This is BB Cream in a stick and I'm loving it! It's so convenient to apply- just spread it on the face and blend, and it's light-feeling and non-greasy, good for my face since I'm having breakouts and I don't like the heavy feeling foundation sometimes gives. This shade also matches me really well, the other two shades look about two grey for my liking.
2. Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in 013 Smoked Peach - Been lemming over this shade for so long, I finally caved and got it. It's a gorgeous peach shade with ultra-tiny glitter particles, but it's still a matte finish. I like how this colour really brightens up my face, and is definitely a summer colour! The picture below shows it as being quite orange-y, but in real life it looks less orange, and more peach.
3. The Body Shop Pomegranate & Raspberry Home Fragrance Oil - Okay, this is not a beauty product, but every time I burn this fragrance oil in my room, I feel totally calm and refreshed which is good for my well-being, especially since reading law is not the most relaxing degree choice. Hehe! Plus, I'm totally one for sweet scents, and this fragrance oil screams sweet,so good for me! =D
4. The Face Shop Jewel Powder in PK101 - this has always been a favourite product of mine(I don't think it's sold anymore, though), but I've been using it recently on days I don't want to wear much eye makeup but want my eyes to look brighter. This glitter powder is so pretty on the eyes and leaves a pinky-silver sheen which really helps open my eyes up.
5. The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Lip Gloss in PP401 - I like this lip gloss as it is a very unique colour. It's a purple lip gloss with tiny purple, blue and silver glitter particles in it. Applied on the lips, it does not apply purple, but instead leaves a very interesting sheen on the lips and adds personality to whatever look I'm going for with my lips. Would definitely recommend you try any lip gloss in a shade like this. It's very pretty. =)

6. Étude House Surprise Essence Concealer in Shade 02 - My breakouts need covering, and this does the job well. It covers my imperfections without leaving it looking cakey, although this does dry pretty fast, so I apply it to the areas I want to cover one at a time to ensure it does not look cakey or patchy. It has a nice refreshing floral scent which fades away once the product is applied on the face.
7. Essence Colour & Go Nail Polish in 72 Time for Romance - I have really been liking this colour, and I mean really. It's a cranberry jelly base filled with tiny silver-blue and pink glitter, slightly bigger pink glitter and big hex glitter. The effect it gives the nails is so pretty yet classy and I think this colour can be worn for any occasion, be it a night out, daytime, even to work!
8. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil - I've been using this product for years so it's an all-time favourite, but since I mentioned my breakouts, I thought I'd include this as I've been using it a lot. This tea tree oil helps zap pimples within a few days without irritating my skin or making the pimples worse, unlike products I've tried containing benzoyl peroxide which really annoys my skin. It also has that typical tea tree scent which I find calming.
9. Kimmi Fragrance in Lily - I've wanted this perfume for over 2 years but always held back from buying it. Again, I took the plunge, bought it, and never regretted it. This scent is sweet, fruity and girly- my kinda scent. The packaging is also super cute, it's a Japanese doll wearing a kimono and looks lovely on my table. Haha! I do think this fragrance has a 'young' feel to it, and is suitable for a day hanging out with friends, a day at the mall or uni. But honestly, I wear it everywhere. Hee! =D
So, that's the end of my June 2012 Favourites! I hope you enjoyed reading this. What are your current Favourites? Do let me know! =D
xx Amanda
